Answer the renewal questionnaire with proof.

The application asks dozens of security questions. We check the controls behind each answer, collect the evidence, and hand you a pack your broker can take to the underwriter. It is part of every Blueprint, and Growth and Partner clients get renewal support every year.

Why it matters

The questionnaire is not paperwork. It is part of the policy.

The answers on your application are what the carrier relies on to write the policy, and what they look at again if you make a claim. A "yes" with nothing behind it is a risk you carry all year.

  • Carriers want evidence, not assurance

"We have MFA" is no longer enough. Underwriters increasingly ask for policy screenshots, console exports, and restore logs, and many run their own scans of your internet-facing systems.

  • Findings can hold up binding

Some carriers flag critical scan findings as contingencies that have to be fixed before the policy is bound. That is a bad time to start looking for help.

  • Your broker is not a security technician

When a question is unclear, the broker can only pass it back to you. Blank or guessed answers read as risk to the underwriter.

What we check

The controls carriers keep asking about.

Questionnaires differ in wording, but they ask about the same core controls. We check each one, collect the proof, and map it to the questions on the application you are about to submit, whichever carrier sends it.

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)Email, remote access, cloud apps, and every admin account.
  • Endpoint detection and response (EDR)Coverage across computers and servers, alerting, and who responds.
  • Backup and recoveryBackups attackers cannot change, encryption, and tested restores.
  • PatchingHow fast updates go out, exceptions, and systems past end of life.
  • Email securityPhishing filters, sender authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and how staff report suspicious mail.
  • Remote accessVPN setup, exposed remote desktop, and how outside vendors get in.
  • Admin accountsWho has admin rights, separate admin logins, and service accounts.
  • Staff trainingHow often, phishing tests, completion records, and wire-verification steps.
  • Incident response planA written plan, a tabletop exercise, and who to call first.
  • Vendor riskWhich vendors hold your data and what their contracts require.
What you hold

An evidence pack an underwriter can use.

A short, structured pack your broker can open, scan, and present, with each answer next to the proof behind it.

  • SummaryOverall posture, top risks, and the recommended next steps, in plain language.
  • Findings by controlSeverity, business impact, and which application questions each one affects.
  • ProofScreenshots, configuration exports, policy excerpts, and log samples.
  • Question mapYour answers matched to the questions on your carrier's application.
  • Fix listPrioritized by impact, with effort and an owner for each item.
When the pack finds a gap That is the point of looking before the underwriter does. Each gap comes with a fix and an owner, written so your IT provider or RSG Logic can act on it, and you decide how to answer the question honestly in the meantime.
How it is delivered

Ready this renewal. Ready the next one too.

The first evidence pack comes out of the Blueprint. The Operator Program keeps it current, so next year's renewal starts from last year's answers instead of from zero.

Step 1

The 21-Day Do More With Less Blueprint

21 days. $4,500 or $7,500, flat. About 2 hours of your time, total.

Every Blueprint includes a cyber insurance questionnaire evidence pack, alongside the risk map and the 12-month roadmap.

  • Cyber insurance questionnaire evidence pack
  • Risk map and quick wins list
  • Security policy recommendations
Step 2

The Operator Program

From $4,000 a month.

Growth and Partner include cyber insurance renewal and security questionnaire support every year. Core keeps your policies and quarterly risk reviews current.

  • Evidence refreshed before each renewal
  • Security questionnaire support on Growth and Partner
  • Incident response on call on Partner

The full Blueprint fee is credited toward the first quarter of an Operator Program retainer if you sign within 30 days of the readout.

Questions

What firms ask before a renewal.

Which carriers does this work for?

Any carrier. The core controls are the same across applications from Chubb, Travelers, Coalition, At-Bay, Cowbell, and others. Send us the application you received, and we map the evidence to its questions.

How long does it take?

The evidence pack is part of the 21-day Blueprint, and it takes about 2 hours of your time in total. If your renewal is sooner than that, tell us on the first call and we will tell you honestly what can be ready in time.

Do you work with our broker?

Yes, if you want us to. We can walk your broker through the evidence pack so the answers and the proof line up. Your broker stays your broker. We are the technical voice in the room.

Will this lower our premium?

We cannot promise a lower premium. What it does is make your answers accurate and backed by evidence, which lowers the chance of a surprise at binding or at claim time.

What if we find a major gap?

The fix list ranks every gap by impact, with an owner for each one, written so your IT provider or RSG Logic can act on it. In the Operator Program, we work through the list with you each quarter.

Does this help with HIPAA or client questionnaires too?

Yes. The same controls show up in HIPAA Security Rule safeguards and in the security questionnaires larger clients send. Healthcare practices can see our HIPAA readiness page for the rest.
